Since joining Netbasic in August each day has been different and I am loving every minute of my new job.
Previously I worked for a large organisation and I thought working within a small team would take a while to adjust too. However, everyone made me feel very welcome at Netbasic right from my very first day where we all went out to the pub for lunch.

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an Account Manager here at Netbasic who would be responsible for the overall management of one of our exciting websites.
The person we are looking for could be described by the following:
Person Specification
- IT and web literate
- Strong team player
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to learn new software packages with ease
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Sense of humour
Qualifications / Experience
- 1-2 years online marketing experience
- Knowledge of the finance industry would be an advantage
- Familiarity with the principles of search engine optimisation

Running miles!

Jake, Sii, Jon and I decided to rise up to a challenge and run for Sport Relief on 16th March. The challenge began when I woke up that morning and looked out of my bedroom window - terrible weather! A run and bad weather on a Sunday morning is not a good combination!
We all met up at the Mountbatten Centre about 12pm where the first lot of runners were finishing their miles. At 1pm we had to line up on the track and do a group warm up - this was not good as I was worn out by the time this had finished. The start gun fired and we were off... Jon and I ran a mile, Jake ran three miles and Sii went all out and ran the whole six miles.
We all managed our target miles and Jon and I even managed a "sprint" run to the finish line on the last section - check out the video below, Good race Jon!!
All in all it was a fun morning and to top it all off we managed to raise just over £1000 for the charity! We did well!!!!

Last Friday Luke and I were looking for a different word we could use for anonymously. We were browsing through the online thesaurus and came across Whatchamacallit!
It took us both at least 15 seconds to work out what the word actually said after reading it over in a number of different ways!

"Sam joined Netbasic in August after having worked for Sunsail for 7 years. The only things we have really found out about Sam are that she can't wake up in the morning until she's washed her hair, which she then has to straighten everyday, she eats a lot, has just given up smoking with the help of patches and is trying to sell her house.
There is something else I know but I promised her I wouldn't mention it and a promise is a promise after all (unless the price is right!) On the job side she has settled into her role as Online Marketing Executive very quickly and has taken control of the advertising of the new website. All I can say to close is - Welcome Sam, are you sure you know what you have let yourself in for......"
