An Elephant Always Runs…

Well as far as I know, that’s a lie. But they do say “An Elephant Never Forgets” which I guess is why, printed on my Alzheimer’s Society running vest, is an elephant!
In not very much time from now, I’m going to be running the 10 mile Bupa Great South Run in my old town of Portsmouth. If you’d like to come and support me, I’d love to see you there (for a pint afterwards, or maybe just to help me back to my car!!)
I’ve set up a handy fundraising page. I know it’s quite late in the day - but I’ve been busy! … ahem…. training. Yes, training. Well I’ve done 3 runs and I was planning to run this evening, but it was miserable and gloomy outside and I’m a wuss - but don’t let that put you off making a donation!

UPDATE. 16th October: My legs are a little achey after the run tonight - 6.7miles. My running pack was on the door mat when I got home though - I’ve got a chip that will measure my performance on the day!
